In the thick of the pandemic of 2020, Be Able opened it’s doors for the first time, as most other organizations were closing them. We’ve created a place where we engage with those in adversity by creating connections, cultivating skills, and opening doors of opportunity. Our community has embraced the magic of Be Able. Be Able’s Daytime Center connects adults to a variety of resources…
including food, a safe & comfortable space, access to computers, and a healthy circle of influential people. Individuals are connected to medical and mental health resources, employment training, and housing assistance with the goal of reducing crisis and homelessness while building stability.
Be Able offers free consulting for our neighbors.
Modeled after a case management approach, we match neighbors with staff and/or volunteers with specific earned life experiences. Operating from a stance of love and non-judgment, our team is trained to listen first and then coach to empower a neighbor towards a solution.
Be Able encourages our neighbors towards spiritual growth.
Believing that it is our shared faith that inspires others and leads to wholeness. A faith journey of spiritual growth requires courage and initiative, pressing into thought and action.
