Radical Generosity
A standard definition of radical likely reads something like changing the primary status or trajectory of something.
In our case, radical generosity could be financially supporting a new or ongoing program. It could be donating land, professional services, consistent volunteering, or something completely outside of our current imagination. Any of these could lead to change.
We want to encourage our community to become radically generous in ways that change the giver and the recipient – and that will look different for each.
How can you be an agent of change – for your neighborhood, for the community at large, for Be Able?
If the idea of radical generosity is intriguing or if you have no idea what it could look like for you, schedule a chat with myself or Jarad. We’d love to connect and walk with you on your journey.

Last month we hosted our first Veteran Community Breakfast. It was full of stories, teamwork, and encouragement.
It was such a success that, before the event was over, our community members setup the next event and let us know that it would be recurring. With that, we’re excited to announce that we will be hosting this event on a MONTHLY basis!
Stay up-to-date through the event page.

These 2 volunteers put their skills to work building a new outdoor shelter for our neighbors.
And a special shout-out to Weddle and Sons Roofing for generously providing the shingles and materials that made it possible.
Their kindness, along with the hard work of Calvin and Gene, gave our community a much-needed spot to step out of the elements and take a break.

Royalty Painting Has Done It Again!
|
Last year, they gave one of our housing properties a brand-new look at no cost. This year, they went above and beyond by painting the entire outside of our community center—and it has never looked better.
Their generosity didn’t stop with paint and brushes. Before getting to work, the Royalty crew asked our neighbors and staff what they wanted from McDonald’s and showed up with food in hand. That’s the kind of heart we’re so grateful for!

Your support helps us sustain programs, expand outreach, build trust, and ensure long-term impact for our community.
How does it work? What does a financial partnership look like for you?
Those are great questions.
Let’s setup a meeting to explore the most effective opportunies for you.

If you’ve spent time at the Manhattan Town Center over the past couple of decades, chances are you’ve seen Dave at work. He’s been faithfully serving on the custodial staff for over 30 years, showing up every day with reliability and pride in what he does.
But what many may not know about Dave is his endless curiosity. Nearly every day he shows up at Be Able with a new question — sometimes thoughtful, sometimes completely random — but always enough to make us smile. He might ask what town the Rose Bowl is in, whether you can Uber from Buffalo, NY to Albuquerque, NM, or how much a Tesla really costs. No topic is off limits, and that’s part of what makes him special.
For Dave, Be Able isn’t just a place to drop by after work — it’s family. And for us, he’s a reminder that everyone has something unique to offer. We love Dave for exactly who he is, questions and all.
