I hope you're enjoying the start of summer! I wanted to take a moment to share a core part of our work at Be Able—Housing First.
We believe everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home. Housing First gives individuals experiencing homelessness immediate access to permanent housing—no preconditions—so they can focus on health, work, and personal well-being.
But housing is just the beginning. What sets Be Able apart is the wrap-around support we provide: mental health care, job assistance, life skills training, and, most importantly, ongoing relationships. Our team walks alongside our neighbors, helping them thrive long-term.
It’s not just about housing—it’s about community, trust, and real transformation.
Thanks for being a part of this journey. Your support makes all the difference.

Be Able has always been about walking alongside individuals through adversity—but as we grow, so does our responsibility to our community.
When graffiti appeared on the steps of a nearby home, just down the street from our center, it wasn’t just someone else’s problem—it was ours too. We take pride in this neighborhood, and we believe in showing up to protect and restore what matters.

We hosted a Volunteer Workshop with 18 amazing attendees eager to learn and get involved.
With breakout groups, interactive discussion, and several folks excited to begin serving, it was a powerful step forward.

Your support helps us sustain programs, expand outreach, build trust, and ensure long-term impact for our community.

Be Able was honored to be the mission focus for Crestview Christian Church's VBS, where nearly 200 kids showed up with HUGE hearts! Each night, we got to share our mission, and by the end of the week, the donations came pouring in—cleaning supplies, hygiene items, and so much more that will directly support neighbors working hard to take steps forward in life.
And of course… to celebrate their amazing effort, Scott took one for the team with a pie to the face!

When our Housing Director, Chad, reached out to Carpet Cleanse for a quote to clean one of our supportive housing properties, their response was simple: "We’d love to help—but we can’t take your money."
We’re incredibly grateful for local businesses like Carpet Cleanse who step up and support the mission of Be Able. Your kindness helps create homes that are clean, welcoming, and full of hope. Thank you for being part of this journey!
